Hindustan Forging & Steel Industries specialises in open-die forging of large and critical components for demanding industrial applications. With over five decades of experience, HFSI is recognised among established forging plants in India, capable of producing single-piece forgings up to 40 metric tonnes.

Our forging operations are supported by 1200T and 4000T hydraulic forging presses from globally renowned manufacturers ZDAS (Czech Republic) and Wepuko Pahnke (Germany). These presses are complemented by heavy-duty manipulators, rotary tables, and overhead cranes, enabling precise handling and controlled deformation of large sections.

HFSI manufactures a wide range of open-die forgings including shafts, gear blanks, blocks, rings, rolls, trunnions, and custom-engineered components. Each forging is produced to meet specific mechanical and dimensional requirements, ensuring suitability for critical applications across industries such as steel, cement, sugar, wind energy, hydraulics, mining, and oil & gas.

Our forging process is documentation-driven and closely monitored at every stage, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and traceability from raw material to finished component.
