HFSI operates an in-house sawing facility designed to handle large-diameter and heavy steel sections with accuracy and consistency, supporting reliable forging solutions in India for demanding industrial applications.

The facility is equipped with Indian-made heavy-duty bandsaws capable of cutting materials up to Ø3000 mm, allowing precise sizing of ingots, billets, and forged blocks before further processing. Controlled cutting ensures minimal material wastage and optimal preparation for forging or machining operations.

By managing sawing and preparation internally, HFSI maintains full control over material flow, dimensional accuracy, and surface condition at the earliest stage of production. This reduces handling risks and improves overall process efficiency.

The sawing facility supports a wide range of material grades, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and other special steels, sourced from approved and prime suppliers. Integrated material preparation allows smooth coordination between forging, heat treatment, and machining, contributing to consistent quality and reduced turnaround times for both single jobs and repeat orders.
