Inside the Thane Forging Facility

HFSI’s Thane unit is the backbone of our forging operations — a fully integrated open-die forging plant engineered for high-capacity, precision-driven production.

From heavy shafts to complex blocks and customised forgings, the facility is designed to shape large components with consistency, control, and exceptional mechanical integrity.

Located at Plot No. F-6/1 & F-6/2 Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane (W), this plant serves as the primary forging hub before components move to our machining division at Patalganga.

What We Do Here

What We Do Here

The Thane facility manages complete forging and heat-treatment operations, ensuring metallurgical integrity from the first heat to the final quench.
Core Forging Capabilities
  • 4000T PLC-controlled forging press (Wepuko Pahnke, Germany)
  • 1200T hydraulic forging press (ZDAS, Czech Republic)
  • 50T & 10T Rail Bound Manipulator (JSW, ZDAS)
  • Rotary table for round and rectangle Components
These systems allow us to forge large, custom components with controlled accuracy and repeatability.
